Installing Template (1st Option)
Installing a new XML template on Blogger can refresh your blog’s appearance and enhance its functionality. Follow these steps to successfully upload and apply your chosen template.
Step 1: Download the XML Template
- Choose a Blogger template that matches your style and requirements.
- Purchase the template file, typically in
.zip
format. - Extract the
.zip
file to access the.xml
template.
Step 2: Log in to Blogger
- Visit and sign in with your Google account.
- In the Dashboard, select the blog where you want to apply the new template.
Step 3: Backup Your Current Template (If Needed)
- Click on Theme from the left sidebar.
- In the top-right corner, click the ▼ beside Customize
- Click Backup to save a backup of your current template in case you need to restore it.
Step 4: Upload the New XML Template
- Click on Theme from the left sidebar.
- In the top-right corner, click the ▼ beside Customize
- Click Restore, then Upload to install the new template.
Step 5: Customize the Template
- Navigate to Theme and click Customize to adjust design elements like fonts, colors, and layout.
- For more advanced modifications, click Edit HTML and tweak the code as needed.
Step 6: Review and Test Your Blog
- Open your blog in a new tab to check if the new template has been applied correctly.
- Browse through different pages to ensure all features function as expected.
Installing Template (2nd Option Recommended)
Step 1: Download and Copy the XML Template
- Purchase a Blogger XML template from CheaplyTemplates.com and download it to your computer. The file should be in XML format (.xml). If you downloaded a ZIP file, simply extract it, and you will find the XML file inside.
- Open the downloaded XML file using Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac).
- Select all the text (Ctrl + A on Windows or Cmd + A on Mac), then copy it (Ctrl + C on Windows or Cmd + C on Mac)
Step 2: Access Blogger’s Theme Editor
- Go to Blogger.com and log in to your account.
- In the Blogger Dashboard, on the left panel, click Theme.
- In the top-right corner, click the ▼ beside Customize and click the Edit HTML
Step 3: Replace the Old Code with New XML Code
- Once the HTML editor opens, select all the existing code (Ctrl + A / Cmd + A).
- Press Delete to remove the old template.
- Paste the new XML code (Ctrl + V / Cmd + V) from your downloaded template.
- Click Save to apply the new template.
Step 4: Check Your Blog
- Open your blog in a new tab and refresh the page to see the changes.
- If something looks off, go back to Layout and make some adjustments.

How to Upload Favicon?
- Create Your Favicon
— Make sure size is square or 192x192. - Upload the Favicon
— Go to your Blogger Dashboard.
— Click on Settings.
— Find the Favicon option.
— Click Choose File and upload your favicon. - Save & Refresh

Invite us to admin access (Extended Users)
- Sign in to Blogger
— Go to Blogger and log in to your account. - Select Your Blog
— If you have multiple blogs, choose the one where you want to add an admin. - Go to Settings
— On the left-hand menu, click Settings. - Find the Permissions Section
— Scroll down to the Permissions section. - Invite an Author
— Click 'Invite more authors' and enter our email address ([email protected]) to invite us as an author. - Send the Invitation
— Click Send to invite us. - Wait for the accept
— After inviting us, you should first contact us to provide details and proof of purchasing the extended version. Once confirmed, you can then wait for us to accept the invitation.
— You can contact us by visiting the contact page. - After we accept the invitation
— Once we accept, go back to Settings > Permissions.
— Find our name and change our role from Author to Admin. - Save Changes
— Confirm the changes, then feel free to chat with us about any revisions or updates you want us to execute.
